This policy explains what ChargerDojo collects, why, who else sees it, and how to get it back or delete it.

By using our service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information we collect

The name, email address and profile picture that come from the account you sign in with
• What you put into the tool
Your endpoint configuration, the scenarios you author, and the runs and reports they produce
• Usage Information
Analytics, cookies, and logs on site interactions
• From our providers
Our hosting and analytics providers pass us usage information about the site

How we use information

• Run the service for you
• Communicate about your account, updates, and support
• Improve the product from anonymized usage data
• Comply with regulations
• Protect against misuse

Data ownership and confidentiality

• Clients retain ownership of their data
• We only process data necessary for Services

• Confidential info is safeguarded by strong access controls

Data security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information:

• HTTPS for everything in transit
• Encryption at rest
Our database encrypts what it stores, and the OCPI tokens you give us are encrypted again on top of that, so a database dump does not hand anyone a working credential
• A dependency vulnerability scan in our pull-request checks
A high-severity advisory fails the check rather than warning about it
• Access controls and authentication systems

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• Send you a copy of your data
• Correct anything that is wrong
• Delete your account and the data on it
• Stop or limit how we use it, or withdraw a consent you gave

In Settings, under Privacy and data, you can export your data as a JSON file and delete your account. The export holds what you made, so work owned by an organisation you belong to stays with the organisation. Deleting your account revokes the report links you shared and the links to reports you created, even where your organisation keeps the report, so a public link cannot outlive the person behind it. For the other two, email us from the address on your account and a person does it by hand: we answer within 5 working days and finish the request within 30 days. If we have to keep something, such as a tax record or a security log, we tell you what and why.

Cookies and tracking

We use cookies for analytics, personalization, and performance. Manage them in your browser settings.

Records of your subscription

If you buy a plan, we keep a record of what you bought, when it started, and when it changed. We keep these records as part of running the service and meeting our tax and accounting obligations, so they are kept whether or not you accept analytics cookies.

This is different from analytics. Analytics is about how you use the site, and you control it through your cookie choice. Subscription records are about what you paid for, and they are part of the agreement between us.

Our payment provider handles the payment itself and is the seller on record. Your card details never reach our systems. What we store is your account, the plan, the billing period, and the status of the subscription.

Third-party services

Integrations with third-party platforms (e.g., AI APIs, cloud providers) follow their own privacy policies.

International data transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure adequate protection for such transfers through appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) where required.

Data retention

We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to:

• Provide the service to you
• Comply with legal obligations
• Resolve disputes
• Enforce our agreements

When we delete your information, we take reasonable measures to ensure it is permanently erased and cannot be recovered.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:

• Posting the updated policy on our website
• Sending you an email notification for significant changes
• Displaying a prominent notice in our application

Your continued use of our service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
