Where certification fits
Formal OCPI certification happens on the EVRoaming Foundation's test tool, EVRTT. We plan to work with the Foundation to get ChargerDojo certified, so the runs you do here line up with the certification you go for next.
Certified is a quote, not a certificate.
It is everything in Automate, priced on the partner endpoints and runs you need. If a partner or a regulator wants a record of what you ran, tell us what it has to show and we will scope it with you.
Pricing questions
How much does OCPI testing cost with ChargerDojo?
Testing against the ChargerDojo sandbox is free, with no card. Testing your own endpoints costs $149 a month on Integrate, with 3 partner endpoints, or $499 a month on Automate, with 20 partner endpoints plus scheduled runs, load runs, Direct Payment and Bookings. Yearly billing is ten months for twelve: $1,490 and $4,990. Certified, for more than 20 partners, is priced on a quote.
What is free?
Everything on the learning side, plus real conformance runs against the sandbox peer we host. The simulator, the Learning Hub, the Payload Workbench and a graded report all work with no card and, for most of it, no login. Testing your own endpoint needs Integrate. On Integrate you add it, exchange credentials with it and run suites against it. Free reports stay readable for 30 days. Reports on either paid plan stay readable for 180 days.
Which plan do I need for Direct Payment?
Automate. Direct Payment is the OCPI 2.2.1 extension and the 2.3.0 Payments module. Its suites and the terminal payment journey run against your own endpoint on Automate and Certified. Against the ChargerDojo sandbox they are free on every plan, so you can see what they check before you buy.
How many endpoints does each plan include?
Integrate covers three partner endpoints and Automate covers twenty, shared by everyone in your organisation. Certified uses fair use, scoped in the quote. The ChargerDojo sandbox never counts toward the allowance.
Do colleagues cost extra?
No. No plan is priced per person and none has a seat count. Invite the whole team, and everyone draws on the organisation's partner endpoints.
How does yearly billing work?
Yearly costs ten months for twelve, on either self-serve plan. You choose monthly or yearly at checkout. Integrate and Automate have a launch price, and the price you are quoted at signup is the one you pay for that subscription.
What is the Certified plan?

What happens when a plan ends?
Your organisation moves to the free Sandbox plan. Runs against your own endpoints, API key calls and scheduled runs stop, and an API call answers 402 naming the plan. Your endpoints, schedules, API keys and reports within their retention are kept, and resubscribing brings everything back in one step.
